Northern Lights
Sweet, earthy, faintly piney. Understated.
One of the oldest stabilised indoor cultivars still in commercial production and an ancestor of a large share of modern indicas. A short flowering time and reliable structure made it the backbone of the 1990s breeding scene. Rarely the loudest jar on the shelf and rarely disappointing.
Terpenes
Listed most dominant first. Terpenes drive the smell and a good deal of the character of the effect, which is why a 19% jar with a strong profile routinely beats a flat 28% one.
Reported effects
These are the effects most commonly reported for this cultivar. Individual batches vary a great deal, and so do people.

Everything above is reference information about Northern Lights as a cultivar. It carries no score because we have not bought any and scoring something we have not smoked would be worthless.
