Sold as Runtz. Smells like nothing in particular. This is the exact trick the name exists to play.
Runtz is the most counterfeited name in cannabis and this is a textbook example of why. It looks the part. Reasonable structure, decent trim, a bit of purple, enough frost in the right light to photograph well. The photograph is what you are paying for.
Open the jar and there is almost nothing there. A faint sweetness, some hay, and a vegetal note underneath that says it was dried too fast. Real Runtz is candy-loud. You do not have to look for it. If you find yourself putting your nose into the jar and concentrating, you have already been sold something else.
It smokes without offending anyone. The high is fine, mild, forgettable, about ninety minutes. If this were on the menu at twenty-five as an unnamed hybrid I would have nothing to say about it.
It was forty-five, because of the word on the label. That is the entire problem. You are not being overcharged for flower, you are being charged for a name that has nothing to do with what is in the bag.
Scorecard
Five scores out of ten. The overall is their average and is never set by hand, so it can never disagree with its own parts.
About Runtz
The most counterfeited name in cannabis. Genuine Runtz from the original Los Angeles cut is loud and unmistakably sweet; the overwhelming majority of bags carrying the name are not it. Bag appeal is high enough that the name gets used to move mediocre flower, so buy on smell.
